It’s time to meet our May Foodie Friday editor, Angie Sievers from The St. Louis Cooks. Angie is a new Missouri Women Bloggers member, but she’s jumping right in to the action! Read on to learn more about her and get ready for a great month of Foodie Friday posts!

Raised: St. Louis, MO – I live in South County now, but I’m a city girl at heart. I grew up in the city close to Francis Park and Ted Drewes.
Lineage: Italian along with a mix of other nationalities as well.
Educated: BS in Communications (Public Relations emphasis) along with a minor in Multicultural Studies from Webster University
Day job: Strategic Sales Manager for a Travel Supplier (Hotelbeds/Bedsonline) a B2B wholesaler that works exclusively with travel agents worldwide. We offer over 80,000 worldwide accommodations, transfers, car rentals, and tours/activities/excursions. My main focus is business development, training, and sales with travel agency partners.
Favorite Cookbook: Good ole fashioned Betty Crocker and Rachel Ray
Dream Meal: Lobster, twice baked potato, and prosciutto wrapped asparagus – fresh bread from the Hill with olive oil, cracked pepper, sea salt, and fresh parmesan cheese for dipping
Other passions: I love to run, write, garden, and create distressed wood signs
Also good to know: I have three awesome kids ages 13, 12, and 8 along with a supportive husband. They are my everything!
