As a mom of three, including a three-year-old who’s just beginning to rattle off some classic quotes, I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve heard one of my kiddos say something precious/quirky/absolutely hysterical and wanted to preserve the memory. I haven’t found a really good way to do that – until now.
LittleHoots is a Kansas City startup with a seriously ingenious idea – it’s a mobile app that allows you to instantly capture those wonderful kid quotes and “scrapbook” them into “memory tiles” that you can then push out via social media. You can also print your “memory tiles” on products such as coffee mugs and coasters, and you can even make a book of your favorites.
I haven’t tried it yet, but it looks like serious fun and especially helpful to craft- and scrapbook-challenged moms like me, so I can’t wait to give it a shot. I especially love the option to create books from the memory tiles – what a wonderful way to capture a precious time that goes by far too fast!
LittleHoots will officially launch in April, but they’re offering MOWB members a sneak peek via beta testing so you can try the app out and review it on your blogs. Check your email for details and contact information, and if you do try it out, let us know what you think!
